Dissens' aim is to promote working with boys in Marzahn-Hellersdorf, Berlin.
We offer:
Consulting
We advise colleagues individually in issues relating to gender specific work with boys. In areas such as prevention of violence, sexual abuse etc. we refer them to the appropriate institutions.
Consultation process
We advise individuals and teams in the setting up of gender specific projects, including co-ed projects.

Information
As a member of various committees on children and youth work Dissens supports interested parties in establishing contacts and informs about related political issues and decisions. Our library offers materials on working with boys and men, as well as on gender specific work.
Further services
Project days and project weeks
In cooperation with the Centre for Girls, Dissens offers projects on various topics running over one or more days for school classes and other groups.
Social groupwork
These projects are geared toward children and young people, helping them to overcome behavioural problems and barriers to development. They are designed to support the development of a stable and confident personality and a better integration into the community.
